Fuel line connectors
I'm replacing the fuel pipes running from the tank to the front and need some advice. does anyone know the type/specification of the copper/copper and copper/rubber connectors shown in the two pictures above? is it ok to use fuel injector clips to join the copper and rubber sections if I flare the end of the copper pipe (or press fit an olive) ? I understand the system pressure is about 2.5 bar is this correct? TIA

I do not think that is a copper pipe, they haven't used copper piping for fuel in years, it cracks/splits way to easy.
That pipe is steel, just rusted from the look of it.
As for the rubber to steel fuel line clamping, fuel injection type clamps can be used if you can find the correct size, and the metal pipe has the correct end for a clamp.

Thanks you are correct the original pipes are steel hence the rust but I am replacing with copper, or to be more precise Kunifer which is a cupro nickel alloy. Doesnt rust, and rated significantly higher than the anticipated pressure. Sorry if I wasnt clear.

I replaced one of the long fuel lines along the body long time ago, without a hoist. That made it VERY difficult to lace the pipe in place in one piece, so I cut it ~10" back from the bend upwards into the engine bay, fitted the engine bay part into place(pretightened with hose), then joined the two ends. Standard compression joiner from Pirtek - like the one in your pic 2 - no issues over 10 years now. Place selling you the pipe should have what you need for joiner, and new male or female ends to match the originals.

This outfit has a good selection of fittings that are the same as those provided on the vehicle when new:
Bel-Metric
They also have the original style polyamide core hose with a rubber sheath made by Cohline. You can also get the Cohline hose from Roger at 928'srus and support one of our great suppliers.
If you poke around the Bel-Metric site, I believe they have fittings that can be brazed or welded onto steel tubing.
