Well, my $0.02 (USD), and worth about that much...

Brakes - Sure. Being able to stop is a good thing. You can go to S brakes without any mods, right? Keep the old parts. Clean them up, coat in some sort of preservative and put them in a box.

Suspension - What exactly would you change? Springs & Shocks? Sure. Again, keep the old parts for posterity.

Engine mods - Again, what exactly? There really isn't a lot to do to the 4.5 short of supercharging or stroking. Exhaust, maybe.

As you can tell, I'm mostly in favor of 'non-destructive' mods. Stuff that can be changed back easily. Wheels, steering wheel, that sort of thing.

I honestly don't see these cars going 'stratospheric' on price*. They are an amazing piece of engineering and design, but the purists never got into them.

* - There will always be examples in very original condition, with very low miles that will see some pretty impressive sale prices. Kermit, Blue82, those sorts of cars.
This is not that sort of car.
