Default Update to Pioneer AVH-3300NEX Install in 93 GTS

In case someone walks down this path, here's a detailed update for installing Pioneer AVH-3300NEX single DIN radio with large popout touch screen while keeping and using OEM wiring, amp, and speakers. Went this direction because Porsche Classic Radio screen seemed too small. Only mod to car was one 1/2 inch hole behind tool kit for camera wire. Powered mockup worked well (except GPS since it hasn't arrived yet, but I expect no issues). Currently determining how best to run wires. Initial excursion with rear quarter panels was a goat rope so will probably run them on left side of front passenger seat, under carpets, and in left seam of rear passenger seat.

Components
- Large rear speaker repair kits (many posts on how to get to them and repair)
- Radio package from ebay
-- AVH-3300NEX
-- Sirius SXV300
-- Backup license plate camera
- AVIC-U280 GPS unit from ebay
- Female DIN to 4 RCA plugs with switched power wire from Bergvillfx in Norway
- Male radio side connector for power harness from Roger (had black/red/blue/yellow wires that correspond to car side harness)
- Brake bypass adapter

Approach
- Soddered and shrink wrapped all wire connections with the excpetion of four. In those four cases (connecting to reverse light power, connecting to illumination power, GPS/DIN ground, and GPS battery power), used posi-taps

Connections from view of readio to car
- Radio plug
-- yellow/black (mute) - not used
-- green (brake) - to green on brake bypass
-- blue/white (amp) - to blue on roger harness; also, connect is blue/black to brake bypass
-- orange/white (illumination control) - to blue/black wire going to light in ash tray
-- violet/white (reverse) - to black/blue wire on drivers sied behind tool kit (opted not to go to CE U12 so I would have to screw around pulling "U" plug and potentailly breaking it)
-- Red (switched power) - to red on roger harness; also connected is blue power cable from DIN RCA from Norway and red power cable to backup camera
-- Black (ground) - to black on roger harness; also connected black from brake bypass, black from rear camera, and, via posi-tap, black from car side DIN and GPS unit
-- yellow (constant battery power) - to yellow on roger harness; also, via posi-tap, yellow to GPS

Other radio side connections
- microphone plug into back of radio
- Sirius box plug into back of radio; antenna plugs into box...NOTE: putting Sirius (and GPS) antenna under insulation and carpet under rear hatch...tested with Sirius and got pretty good reception
- GPS unit into back of radio and to black and yellow wires as mentioned earlier
- GPS traffic antenna (somewhere)
- RCA connectors to front LT/RT and rear LT/RT speaker out; female DIN to male car side DIN; car side DIN ground to black on roger harness as mentioned earlier
- USB cable into USB port
- Bluetooth turned on and tested for phone/contacts

Yet to do, but know how to
- Install Android Auto wireless using old smart phone wifi, and approach defined online from XDA Developers
