Default First time on snows

Since finishing the clutch, I haven't had her out until today but only after putting on the snows in preparation for winter. These have never been driven on as far as I can tell as they still had the "****" on the tread. The first couple of miles were rough riding until the tires softened up. They are not unusually noisy on the inside and rode extremely smooth at speed.
Has anyone used these particular Pirelli's? The fronts are directional, the rears are not.

What, no winter wheels?
I have always wished I could drive one through the winter.

I don't have input to contribute for the tires; but applaud you.

Studs?

ouch, who is banging weights onto the rims ,
these weights will cause corrosion and damage the finish of the wheel.

I like to use the tape weights placed on the inside of the rim

Odds are also they are the wrong profile weights, and will fly off too.

Nobody knows how to do those anymore..

Those are my winter wheels. I have a couple of other sets in chrome and polished. This is the rattiest set I have dedicated to keeping the wheels rolling and the car loose during the "off" months of winter.
The rest are balanced with stick on weights...
Those are steel track nuts I use when the car is "off season".
