Has anyone done a swap?
My Fuel Pump relay holder tabs have been broken for years and moves in/out.
I am currently de-Oxying my central electric panel and want to swap in an unused one.
However, I can't figure out how to remove a good one (89s have 3 blanks) without breaking the tabs.
Is there a trick way?
Please and thanks

Reason: add pic
the sockets (female 1/4" spade) in the relay socket are crimped to the relevant wires in the back of the board. Does the spare relay socket have female spade sockets in it? Either way, you will need to uncrimp the wires for the pump relay from the sockets, fit new sockets, and then install the sockets into the relay socket - not a task I would look forward to. Are you sure the retainer tangs are broken off, or just not correctly tensioned/bent?
The spare relay sockets in my spare CEB have no connectors in them .

Thanks JP.
Yes, if you look carefully you can see the tabs are missing.
Actually, I was gonna swap with XV (kick-down auto) since it has the 1/4" spade and not used by my car (5 sp).
Then swap the one at the end to fill the hole in the middle.
If it was me....I would get a spare relay socket , out of the CEB(ie loose in mid air), and one by one transfer the wires from the old relay socket to new female sockets (crimped or soldered), then into the relay socket. When all done, fit the relay socket into the CEB. Might actually test that the pump worked before that last step.
Did you see the other recent post about pulling the brass female sockets out of the relay socket? The large sockets can be removed by inserting a 3/32"x1/32" flat steel blade (eg bristle from a road sweeper) pushed down beside the socket in the white nylon, with the brass socket pushed in to relieve tension.
