Ok. I am going through wiring, ugh! Replaced MAF connector now finding other melted connectors, mods at EZK and LH. Am I better off replacing 2 other connectors or looking for entire harness? Causes of melting? Anyone have engine harness?
So they jumped the CAT fire protection Relay (white connector), if they did it wrong on the first try that will start melting wires in the loom, than anything can get fused together.
If it were mine, I'd replace it with a used from 928International, or go the extra mile and replace w/ a new harness from 928sRus as a used harnesses is still old, and a new would be a selling point if you ever go that way.
Replacing is easier and less problematic that the time it will take to fix that mess once you open it all up.
