Headlight assembly removal question
I’m dissambling to prep for paint. I’m working on the headlights right now. The underside of the passenger side assembly will not budge, so I cannot remove the wire harness. I’m not certain why it will not move. The driver side lower assembly moves.
I already removed the bolts to the torsion bar and the bolts through the fender. Do I need to leave these bolts attached to move the lower assembly? Could the lower assembly be corroded to the bar?

I'm not sure what you mean exactly but there are only the four bolts holding the headlight assembly to the chassis and central shaft (two each) and must be removed. Both sides are exactly the same just mirrored.

spray some PB blaster on the cross bar to HL arm , this should dissolve the corrosion.
As Alex suggested there are 4 bolts total holding each HL to the bar/fender.

You guys are great. You even try to answer a poorly asked question.
Here is a picture of the drive side assembly. On the passenger side, The black portion of the assembly and the rest of the assembly seem to be fused together. They will not rotate relative to each other.

But they are -not- symmetrical...they are hand drilled and mated.
Keep left and right the same on re assembly.
Fractions of a degree are inches of error if you swap them by mistake
