Default Looking For A GTS Rub Strip Piece

I lost the short triangle shaped right rear quarter panel piece.

Figured I'd see if anyone has one for sale.

928 Intnl has one in red colour, was hoping I could find one in a dark blue or black that would match close enough until I can get it refinished and painted to match.

Both of mine were missing when I bought my 93, ordered them from Roger and then primer, paint, and clear coat from these guys. They turned out pretty good. Will add a picture tomorrow when I can pull car put into sunlight.

Interesting on the paint service, Jetson.

Do you recall the cost?

Thanks.

If I remember less than $60. I bought a 12 ounce aerosol can of paint nd the clearcoat. I bought primer locally. I did several thin coats of paint followed by 4 coats of the clear.

I sat the trim piece on top of the cap on a can of brake cleaner nd used a piece of painter's tape rolled up on underside to keep it on the lid while I sprayed the trim piece.

I seem to remember that the adhesive pieces are separate part numbers from trim piece but Roger can confirm for you.

here is a pic from today.

Hey that turned out real nice.

Looks like that's the way to go for this project. Won't be done in time for SF though, so I don't want to hear nothing about my missing rub strip!
