Default Update on Casper racer #51

Casper, my old dean krenz-Ken Osage racer in avatar has been owned by sean since 2014. It has a 5L euro hybrid with cut pistons. The old stand alone ecu from Sds digital is nearly analog. It’s had a hard time getting a proper tune, so I took Casper to a local tuner to get things sorted. Well the modern tuner world loves laptops..... this Sds is pure head unit on dash controlled.... I’m going to have to embrace millennials to get this done...hopefully the 3.5bar s4 fuel pressure regulator with the stock (and balanced) 24lb injectors should be enough to allow a proper tune...basic math says it will work.

Sean reports he cuts the oil filter after every track event (two days tops) and has never seen any bearing debris. It has been running on a rich, minimal spark tune so that makes sense. Sean has been shifting at low rpm of 5500rpm and has an accusump installed.

Our goal is to get a proper tune in the car on race fuel (100 octane unleaded) with a solid reliable dyno number. Casper will be at sharktoberfest and will be for sale! More information to follow.
