Stupid me. I went out to swap plugs.....I can only get to one of them, looks like the intake runners have to come off. Beyond my ability. Anyone who enjoys.tinkering want to make me an offer? Maybe Mecum in the spring is my best option. Thanks everyone

Just loosen up the outer clamps on the runners to the side plenums (do not loosen the inner ones), this will help w/ the re-installation later.
On the drivers side (Drivers left) loosen the Vacuum hose clamp to the Brake booster at the front near the bottom, slip off the connection from the plenum.
All 8 plugs will now be exposed, do not kink or sharply bend any of the plug wires.

4 is the pressure regulator, but might as well check 3, 4, and 5. Wet or strong fuel smell would indicate failure.
If all clear, then back to what everyone else was advising. If you do see or smell strong fuel, replace unit(s) and we'll see if that doesn't solve (or significantly change) the pressure issue.

I could only reach the drivers side, I used a long pair of needle nose to pull the rubber hose off of the nipple on the firewall side. No fuel ran out and I could not get close enough to smell

davek9 describes the cars last 2 years couple hundred miles. Cold start to charge the battery for a few minutes and short jaunts to give people show off rides. Probably hasn't been run 30 minutes at any one time. I need to try and pull plugs. Not shure which plugs are in it, I do remember they had two "prongs" in a V over the electrode. The new set I have on hand are: Bosch W7DCO on box Super RO 668 on plugs

I pulled the vacum line off of 3,4, & 5 in the diagram. No fuel present, possibly a hint of fuel smell (hard to tell with my face on the engine. The car has not been started for over a week. Does this check need to be done right after the engine has been run or does that not matter? Thanks

It really shouldn't matter, if fuel was in there you would know it.
More important, did you do the spark plugs and take a pic of the ones you removed (number them as they come out).
(1-4) front to back, drivers right, (5-8) front to back drivers left.

Have not pulled plugs, moved the car to my other garage to start messing with it. I did find one.of the chipsets in an envelope. I know this is probably a stupid question, but can anyone tell if theses are the factory, or AA set by the numbers? 2287355631 & 2227355428 in bold on back of chips. These could even be the set that should have been installed with supercharger for all I know. Thanks for the help

I have used the mechanic for 15 yr on my 928 and always gets me back on the road with reasonable rates........I now you are frustrated, give me a call 785-766-three none eight four.......
