Yet another door lock thread - 86.5
I recently finished up mucking about in my dash to replace leaky vacuum actuators. Now that it is all back together I am having new door lock issues.
Issues are as follows:
When driver door is locked or unlocked with key, both door locks work fine.
When passenger door locked with key, neither door locks.
Central locking button does nothing when pushed.
Doors locked telltale illuminates when both doors are manually locked from inside the car.
Obviously, one, or maybe all, of my problems is a driver door lock motor that is not working. Other threads tell me that some MY cars have inline fuse holders above the CE panel for the door lock motors. Is that the case with 86.5?
Thanks

yes to the fuses above the CE panel,
they have black fuse holders they are clipped to the top edge ,
the wires are red with black stripe

Thanks Stan.
I must note however, that some of the fuse holders are clipped to the CE panel. Others are not clipped to anything, have fallen behind the CE panel and require effort to locate. Upon location and examination, these fuses will, of course, not be blown.
