My '78 euro has wiper blades with the side pin on the wiper blade and I am having trouble finding these locally. It seems that much more common are blades that attach to a pin that is on the wiper arm. I was hoping to find an adaptor that would allow the more common blades to fit on my 928. I see that there is an ANCO 48-08 adaptor that looks like it might work, but I can't find any information on the pin sizes.
If the pin is the right size the plastic adaptor would not be used.
Has anyone tried this or another way of using blades that are more available?

I would honestly just buy a set of blades for the rubber and use them as a refill for your wipers you already have.

The old wipers are pretty ratty... but perhaps I'll try that while I look for a longer term solution. This is the kind of challenge I love, to find a low cost solution to parts supply.
