Default WooHoo! How do you spell farfernugen?!

Oh My Gawd! 101 miles of Farfernugen.
Now I know what y'all's talking about. Unbelieveable. I've got a permanent smile that can't be erased.

I started out at the Avenue of the Giants. Sunroof open. Then headed out to the Mattole Road. That is the most twisty, quiet road around. Basically a second and third gear road.
So, I have to eat some words. I had't driven this car enough to be able to find it's sweet spots. How dare I say anything negative about the GT.

The shocks- not too stiff, not too soft.
The posi- shoots you thru the hairpins like that Wildmouse ride.
The brakes- I'll take antilock any day without a complaint. At least in wet.
Shifting- effortless. Perfect.
That engine- Geez! Not quite enough power to brake the rear tires, but just enough to launch. And that sound. No need for a stereo.

It was the best drive I've ever had. I've never been in a car like it. And the sound. Did I mention the sound!
And even on crappy front tires, I didn't even come close to this cars capabilities. Man!

Hey, I'm dying to go to the track. It's a looooong ways away. Like 300 miles.
The only time I ever competed, I racked up championship points, whatever that meant. I went to an autocross for one day and I could hear the guy over the loudspeaker yelling away. I'm ready to try it again. Sears Point is the closest.

Hey, the way I feel right now, this steed is stayin. It's nice to be wrong, sometimes.
