Wheel refurbishment

My preferences depend on the wheels, ex. I prefer matte finish on phone dials and a gloss on the cup wheels. I had a set of the design 90’s in chrome and was never a fan. Of the 3 pics you have, my vote is for the bottom. Almost looks like a brushed finish, looks good

Given that Porsche never painted the forged S or early GT wheels there is no correct answer..... So do what you like. and the brushed look is the factory anodized finish impossible to replicate with paint.

Get the old anodizing removed by chemically stripping with caustic lye, have them polished, and have them reanodized. Then slather them in vaseline and keep them away from detailers that will try to ruin them with alkaline wheel cleaners.
