Default Has anyone ever spotted the true 928 Unicorn?

Has anyone ever laid eyes on a 928 where the exterior was a complete disaster, however through some miracle, the interior remained untouched? Purrfectly preserved in its original condition. Never saw one myself, do they really exist? I can’t say for sure if this poor soul is the chosen one, not enough photo evidence to convict. From this photo though, it looks like it made it 50% of the way.

I thought the 928 unicorn was the final GTS in Pearl?

Kevin Lacey's 'Lump' has a pretty nice Pascha interior considering it was a junkyard find.

I guess they do exist, which doesn’t make them unicorns at all. Maybe I should change the name of this thread to the “928 Aye-aye.” Not so pretty on the outside, but the interior is pure gold and that’s what really counts. Actually, there is some resemblance here:

She may not have been pretty, but she had plenty to give. Wonder when one of you is going to need some of the many 78-only parts I took off that car?

The outstanding condition of the outside of that black 78 was pretty evenly matched by the interior.

The search for 928 Lemurs continues then.

Sorry Droo, I didn’t realize she was actually your parts car. However, now that I know who the owner is. I may be interested in that spoiler. Maybe that would tame the vibration in my car I’ve been chasing down. That is, unless you’re gonna mount it on #1. Take care buddy

I actually, may have!
I just picked up this parts car that has been sitting outside, under a tree for 18 years! The interior, while dirty, is in PHENOMENAL shape! The leather is softer than any original 928 I've encountered yet.
I'm going to gut the interior and clean everything thoroughly. I'll keep everyone posted on the results

no worries...it WAS offensive. It actually smelled up the whole driveway. Had some kind of mold from Mars in it. I've gotten and parted much worse!
