Default Headlights

Looking just at Amazon there are five pages of available headlights. I would like to upgrade the lights on my 928S4. Appreciate anybody with opinions as to what is best both in terms of price and service.

Price & function are as you might expect at the opposite ends of the spectrum.. so depends what you want. The 8" H5 stock lights on an S4 look OK but don't function that well. H4 8" Euro lenses look very similar (good/better even) but perform very much better. You don't need LED lamps - Euro 8" H4's with incandescent bulbs are a huge upgrade over the stock USA 8" H5's. However 7" H4's while they don't look as nice (trim ring) are hugely cheaper and also still much better than 8" H5s. So those are the realistic options - most of what you will find on Amazon are just absolute crap - don't go there.

I recently saw someone with a set of 7" Trucklite LEDs. They have a raised, square profile like H4s, and they looked pretty good to me.

If you go down the LED path, my one penny’s worth would be to go for a trusted brand where they do R&D on the product. The Philips H4 ones in my 8” ROW S4 (with Protizmo sealing caps) do the job well. Certainly a lot of $$ compared to other brands but I decided on a trusted (and long established) manufacturer.
