Default No kickdown 90S4 then I found this....
Mounted under the accelerator pedal. Prevented the pedal from reaching the kickdown switch.

Never seen one of those before, did the throttle fully open?
Kevin, looks like a "teen limiter", one that is not easily defeated

For a point of reference, the pedal assembly was about an inch shy of touching the kickdown switch - pedal fully depressed - with that part installed.

Previously, I thought the kickdown cable at the manifold had to be dialed in. Now, not so much.
