Need good machine shop in the Philly area, suggestions
I just got a set of 32V heads off my project car,
they will need to be cleaned and have mating area surface repairs done with welding,
then a surface cut to restore the mating area of the head gasket.
I have a local machine shop that I have used thats not able to do this work.
So I need a machine shop thats experienced with Porsche water cooled head repairs.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks Stan

I went to my Powder coater Bonehead PC, and asked the owner if he could suggest a good engine rebuilder shop,
he suggested one thats not too far away .
I called them and spoke to Lorenzo and he was quite knowledgeable about the 928 engines and he has worked on a few of them repairing cylinders and rewelding blocks and sleeving them.
Based on the amount of cylinder heads and engine blocks lining the holding racks this looks to be a busy shop,
It was also pretty neat inside , the man told me what he was going to do to repair the damaged surfaces and i feel confident this will be my new machine shop,
its a bit of a drive but sometimes good work is hard to find
ICS thanks for responding I need a local machine shop
