# 579 1978 Euro crank but no start
Hi everyone,
Tried searching the forums but couldn't find a specific thread. Here is what's happening:
I just got the car out of storage and was driving it home. Seemed to run fine and was driving along when i made a fairly quick left hand turn. As soon as I did that, the car stalled. Trying to restart, it would crank over but not fire. At the time there wasn't a lot of fuel in the tank but I've since added new fresh fuel. I've tried bridging the fuel pump jumper relay, but that didn't work. The pump under the gas tank does not make any noise when the power to it is on. I understand that I most likely have an in-tank pump and I have the pump that is under the gas tank. Is there a way to determine which pump is bad, or should I just replace the external pump?
Thanks in advance

Isn't there 2 external pumps for '78? One under the tank and another in the rear passenger wheel well. If the circuit is loose on the rear wheel well fuel pump, it would shut off the entire fuel pump circuit right?
