Default Porsche 928 engine bay light, fuse panel lid.

A great car. I love it. They did a good job making it perfect. Even some engine stickers are gold finished. However.....
Opening the bonnet you see a beautiful engine. Porsche must have thought you never have to work on it at the side of the road because the engine bay light is very, very basic. Just one (!) lonely bulb. No lense, nothing. Really?
Another little disappointment; the fuse panel lid can not be parked in the open position. It keeps falling down on your hands during inspection. Or maybe a part is missing?

Just my thoughts
1 close the hood and drive the car.
If you need a light have a Streamlight on hand.

2 get a pencil with an eraser on it,
it works for writing down plate #s and holding the CE panel open and its non conductive

It doesn't have a way to hold the fuse panel lid open because it would have added unnecessary weight...you hardly ever have to go there anyway....

My CE lid wedges itself when up between the center console carpet on one side and the carpet on the passenger footwell wall on the other. Never been an issue for me.
