Hi All,
Last night I took out my climate control unit to replace the bulb. Turns out the bulb was fine, but one of the female spade connectors was broken, so I replaced that and now have light again. In the process I went ahead and pulled the factory Blau to ease the removal of the "H" trim to get at the controller. In doing so, I noticed the DIN connection plug for the radio had pulled away from the unit. Aha! Perhaps this is why I have speakers that mysteriously quit working from time to time. Lots of wires in a very tight space, so my question is should I try to re-solder these connections or get a new plug. Either way, I am going to need to know what wire goes to what pin. I plan on upgrading to a CD head unit, but for now need to just get the old unit working again.
I love the music that my new RMB makes, but some tunes now and then would be nice.
Suggestions? Solutions?
TIA
Regards,
Bill
