It didn't make the car faster in corners but it did make it much easier to handle. Especially for average drivers.

Now I now what makes me an average driver. I own a 928.

I passed this on to my Opel GT friend. You'll see his car at Camp 928 in a few days, Bilal.

We had a 1965 Opel Record 2 door with three on the tree when I was growing up. My dad bought it new in Germany and drove it back to Pakistan. He loved the car but it had no creature comforts as they were all extra.
I still remember it had no back up lights, no radio, no heater.
Lot of great memories in it.
