West Michigan 928 mechanic recommendation.
Hello all,
Always lurked for the knowledge but finally joining. I have a 928 that has no power, surges at 3000rpms and then takes offf like a rocket at 4K and up.
Found a a great article on fixing and starting with vacuum lines, mass air meter, coil, plugs, wires, fuel filter and so forth. If that doesn’t do the trick I’d like to know if anyone has a trusted 928 mechanic in Western MI. I love in the Grand Rapids are and have only recently relocated.
Thank you!

Welcome! Nice 928. What year? I don't know any Michigan mechanics but there are a bunch of folks on RL that live near you that should. As for you issue, I would do as you have been research and give the car complete top end refresh. It sounds possibly vacuum related to me , but could be a number of other causes related to ignition/timing. Good luck!
