In addition to that part you're looking for, I also installed Precision Motorwerks Oil Filler Neck Baffle when I did the upper refresh.
Adding the second baffle has stopped the pools of oil I used to have in the air intake side manifolds. I figure by doing this I'm better protecting the wire in the MAF.

Eh...I'd argue that part does next to nothing, and Porsche didnt realize the scope of the problem at that time.

A proper baffle, not just this splash grate, is what you want.

completely agree, and that is my plan. GB recommends that this part be installed on top of his baffle for optimum results. certainly can't
hurt. that's why I am searching for one.

If an oil mist is making it to the incoming air, as evidenced by oil pools found in the side air intake plenums, then that oil mist is indeed entering the MAF.

Please explain how that happens.

Maybe air flows in reverse thru the engine when the gearbox is on reverse? ;-)

More seriously, alternating between WOT and throttle closed at various rpms might spray some oil out of there as well, if the whole zip-tube throttle-body element (I'm thinking S4) is filled with oil. Shouldn't be much, though.
