As I near completion of the repaint of my 91 S4 I am at the point I'd like to install the new door sills.

I am a bit concerned about fitment.

There is an additional body clip at the bottom of the B pillar that interferes with the felt body edge. Not sure there was or wasn't that clip in the earlier revision of the sill with the rivet hole.

Has anyone seen this before and if so how did you resolve it?

Body edge is located as it should be.

That rearmost clip is the 'replacement' for the plastic rivet. You either have to remove it, slide it farther forward so it doesn't interfere, or shorten the felt body edge piece.
