A good article, though typically schizoid on the 911/928 dilemma. "I’m not here to convince you that the 928 is a better car, just offer up some musings..."

I own both, from the same era. They are very different, perhaps too different to compare, too different to answer the "which is better?" question. But like Schrodinger's cat who's state is undefined until you open the box, the answer becomes clear when you contemplate a specific use of the car: for most uses, I take the 928.

On the other hand, 30-40 years later, the car with the simple fusebox, etc. is more likely to be running well (aside from the 915 gearbox). The heads it turns are 100% in recognition and admiration; you get a lot of "quizzical" in the 928, but I like that.
