Default S4 door locks don't stay locked

On my '88, I've had a problem for a while now that used to only occur in colder weather, but now all the time. I go to lock the doors, they cycle down, then come straight back up. I can turn both ***** easily from the inside so there's nothing binding from that perspective.

Anyone have suggestions? thanks in advance!

Troy,
One or both of your lock mechanisms are out of adjustment. Readjust and they will probably be just fine.

Probably one side is just a little ahead of the other side and while its down, the other side is still on its way down, so they both come back up. Just got to get them back in synch or move back to a warmer clime.

Ah ha! Worked on it until you broke it, didn't you? That's normally my M.O.
