Loosen the belt at the air pump until it can be removed, remove the top half of the fan shroud (2x10mm bolts in front), undo 3 bolts holding arm to water pump, lift out arm complete with fan, clutch, pulley. Undo nut behind pulley, remove pulley, prise out woodruff key, tap shaft out forwards, undo bolts holding fan to clutch. replace clutch, reassemble.

Thanks for the info. Just got the car back together after an intake manifold rebuild. Ran great until the altinatotr belt came apart. Wrapped around the fan and clutch. I saw it in the rear view mirror. Now the fan clutch won't turn even after I cut all the old belt free.
