Default HELP FINDING CLOCK WIRES

getting ready to reassemble center console and cannot find wires for clock. is it a plug in connection?

I found one green/brown stripe wire that comes off the harness for the main plug for the radio; this wire
does not come off of the plug, but is in the loom for the radio plug. any idea where this goes?

That's an alarm wire that connects to the radio chassis mounting sleeve in the console.

The clock wiring should have a 5 pin flat rectangular connector, IIRC there are 4 wires to it. red, brown, blue/black, and ????

thanks for identifying that wire, Rob. I have swapped out my Reno for a new CDR 220 and the sleeve is
not removed. What happens if this wire is not connected to anything?

I don't think anything happens, I put a CDR-220 in my '90GT years ago and nothing exploded. Pretty sure I just taped over the connector and left it.

Rob, do you happen to have a photo of the clock connector? does the origination of the plug come from
the right side??

not funny any more; there is no evidence of the plug????

Should be on the same harness as the ashtray light. Look around the PS side of the transmission tunnel.

Here's the only pic I can find- flat rectangular black 5 pin connector (4 pins used), bottom right at red arrow.

thank you both, Rob and Kevin: I FOUND IT!! it was jammed under the HVAC solenoid assembly. it must
have got trapped under there when I was putting those back. The trick was looking for the black connector (Rob photo)
as opposed to black

Thanks again! Frustration relieved.
