Bumperet removeal
I'm seriously considering removing the rear bumperetts along with the side markers. I know the the rear has huge holes that will need to be covered. Any suggestions on the best way to do this other than sourcing a euro bumper cover?

You can find a bumper repair place that will weld in replacement abs.
I had the front bumper on my S4 repaired and you can't tell. I have several mounting holes for the lower spoiler as well as the lower grill support fixed. you can even have them sand and prime the whole thing ready for paint. I think I paid about $200.

Here is the thread I did a long time ago about how to properly do this.https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...te-how-to.html

As Michael said, the new epoxies seem to do a good job. Hopefully, they last over many years. I had the headlight squirter holes removed on my S4 recently and the repair is invisible (to me).
Side note: I'm curious to why you are have your jack stands placed on the square tubing instead of the specially-made-high-labor-cost round pipe sections of the Liftbar ends?

Why get rid of the rear bumperette, it's a great place for a video camera mount:

I'm doing the same thing. I started unbolting one bumperette from underneath the car & my arm got so tired from turning the wrench that I put that job on hold. I couldn't get a ratchet in there. I'll get back to that job the next time I have the car back up on the lift.
But yes, the plastic can be "welded" and patched.

I removed mine five years ago, I used alluminium mesh ( aluminum) cut it with strong scissors and formed larger than the holes, then epoxied them to the back of the holes , once that was set and very strong I applied plastic bumper repair filler, painted with a rattle can and four coats of clear to finish. To date there is no sign of any distortion or stress cracks.

I can so easily see how a couple tube section stubs welded to each bar could hold crossbars with giant casters for rolling the car around during off-season (winter) storage.

..., thank's, have to say this car was never fitted with bumperetts, but I kind of liked them so bought some and fitted them. However couple of years later decided I did'nt like them and removed them, have to ad, the holes I made in the bumper were nowhere the size of one's I've seen on here, consequently a repair/reinstate was relatively easy and thankfully very successful.
