Doors locked, alarm set and no locks to reset the alarm

No good deed goes unpunished.
Completed disassembly of the 91S4 and had it dropped it off at my body shop. Drove it off the tow truck and parked it on the inclined driveway while we discussed my punch list. All good so far.
Owner asks me to disconnect hatch wiring so they can remove the hatch. As I wiggle the white connect I hear the door locks lock. Oh crap.
The lock sets are back at my house. Reach in and alarm goes off. Game over. Funny **** as the alarm goes off until I disconnect the battery,
Short of connecting all the locks what are my options? And somebody please explain how rocking the connector set the locks off.

Are the connectors for the alarm switches still in the doors (the part that attaches to the back of the lock cylinder)?
You can jump the wires and turn off the alarm.
I forget exactly how, I'd need the switch, plug and cylinder in front of me to figure it out, but when you look at it, it's pretty obvious.

Yes, they are and that makes perfect sense. A jumper from the center out to the edge sounds like a good idea.
I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks.

That was brilliant - when I touched the center to one of the copper dots it locked and touched to other it unlocked the car and she started.
Thanks again!

Glad to hear it worked for you.

Edit to add: You might put some sort of insulation on the open contacts. A wrap of tape would likely be enough.
I'm going to guess that wiggling the hatch receiver to open it up made the contacts touch the body enough to close the circuit, lock the locks and arm the alarm.

It wasn't the hatch receiver, it was the small connector at the hatch hinge. I'll look at it closer now, but is was a comical moment when I heard the locks lock.
The lesson to me is to disconnect the battery while you're disassembling the hatch.
Anyhow, mad props for the hint.

Yeah, you can lock the doors and activate the alarm system by turning the key to the left/counterclockwise in an alarm hatch latch. Wiggling the connector for it probably shorted it and did what happened to you.
Glad you got it fixed
