If you have coolant in the oil then the head gaskets must be bad or the block has previously been freeze cracked. A pressure check as advised above is essential. If cost matters, the money saved using $50/pair Ford motor mounts will about cover it.

Steve_C : are you serious about the motor mounts tell me more , what year, which model ? do we have to make them fit ?

About the coolant problem, i will change the head gaskets, when i will get to the gaskets, if i see the leak i should'nt have to worry about a pressure test , is'nt it ?
Hey Gregg K : don't worry i read you well, and i understood ,when it's too familiar mechanic ,sometimes i don't get it
Thank's and happy new year again.

That is not the the whole truth!
The head gaskets migrate, as you correctly said, and start to make 'microscopic' leaks, not only in one spot but generally all over, some places more than other.
Then, specially when driven hard, the gaskets leaks - also to the external - and you get the engine V-bay filled up
I saw it clearly when I made my engine last year (1984 S2 - 145.000 Km)
The engine was running well, only I had some cooling water consumption when driving hard. When I open the engine, everything was fine except all the gaskets was 'rotten' and ready to be changed
When I see a 928 engine with a wet V-bay, I am doubtful about the health of the engine!
Am,
If you are not familiar with this kind of work, then ask (rent) someone to help you to change the head gaskets including the gaskets for the valve steams - Anyway, you already made the most of the work by taking the engine out of the car.
Regards from Erik in Denmark and Happy New Year

Check the following link; http://nichols.nu/tip706.htm.
Make sure you buy the Anchor 2698s made in USA; bought mine at Autozone for $44.95 US/pair. Perfect fit except you need two thick washers as explained above and four new nuts to fit the non metric threads.

Beware of the Chinese mounts I found at Pepboys; not what I consider Porsche quality.

Thank's Steve, i already ordered the genuine mounts but i'll try cancelling them and try to find the one's you're talking about.
ERIK: i'll probably do like you said and i wanted to tell you that the V-bay on my engine had coolant too but i taught it was because of the broken regulator seal that the p.o. tried to fix with silicone or something like that, so let's go for the head gasket job
Thank's again guys.
