use the multi meter set MV disconnect the connector have a helper turn the wheel see if a voltage is generated.
NOTE you may have to perform this back to the controller connector

I had been back there actually, when removing rear bumper. So I saw your post again and it gave me hope. And you sure were right, connector wasn't totally disconnected, but enough that it dindn't make contact. Plug it in and everything is fine! Thanks a lot Kevin, and the others contributing to my troubleshooting!

If the two pin connector that runs to the solenoid switch is disconnected you will immediately get an ABS followed by a PSD error. I know this from my personal experience.
But, assuming that you did no mess around the PSD area then Stan is right in that there must be a short in the wiring.
