Default Early 928 engine FS on Denver CL for $600

February 2018, spotted this ad. No affiliation:

928 Porsche Engine - $600 (Englewood)
model name / number: 4.5l SOHC V8
Received as a core but was WAY to nice to be junk so I tore it apart for inspection and could tell it had already been gone through- everything inside is cherry, someone spent alot of time/money powder coating the top end. Pretty sure its for a late 80s 928 I see no reason it couldn't be re-sealed and run. Includes everything from intake to pan looks like great stuff but I have no need for it heard they are good for v8 swaps and Porsche restorations Call <phone number>

From the pics it looks like a late 70's early 80's engine, 2 valve. Again, no affiliation.

I know the 4.5's aren't worth much but the intake and powder coating and other detail work could easily be worth that right?

only if you like the color scheme. Maybe in the original Porsche silver/aluminum.
