Default Dash overlay?

Hello everyone. I was looking for some wiring info on Bing and came across some Dash overlays being sold on ebay for a very reasonable price. I thought it might be a good temporary cover while doing some more important tasks on my 81 euro, is there anyone here that has done this I'm interested in how they look. Thanks.

The overlays never fit well and don't look good. I would leave your dash as is and recover it in vinyl at a later date.

The overlay usually melts on the first hot sunny day, not to goo, but warps etc.

I have yet to see one that doesn't look like a bad toupee.

If you have a cover on it now, an overlay won't look any better.
It would just be harder to get off when you want to fix the dash.
