I haven't had reason to pursue it, but I did see someone taking about installing new hose and ferrules onto existing fittings.
I'm not certain if it was a ferrule that was looser than normally intended so as to clear the fitting's surface texture, or if it just slid easily over the end of the fitting since it was a replacement part and not captive on the fitting.

I just did a quick search, and there are numerous places to buy the fittings, and if you look for beadlock ferrules, you can find them alone for any hose size as well.
