I have a set of factory 928 workshop manuals. There are 8 volumes and I believe it covers up thru the 1995 GTS.

Looks like you are missing one volume. III seems to be absent. There are nine in the set; I-A, then I through VIII>

 

thanks for pointing that out Jerry. Is there suppose to be 9 books in the set??

 

i will check my warehouse to see if I have Vol lll. if not, I can drop price to $400.

can someone tell me if there are 9 volumes total??

I've only seen 9 volume sets that are grey. I think the earliest sets may have only been 4 or 5

 

Are these different form the Workshop Manuals that can be downloaded off the internet? Or are these just nice to have because they are original, preprinted and ready to use for those of us that prefer not to have to read an electronic screen?

You have 8 volumes and I told you that you are missing number 3 (III). Why would you keep asking if there are supposed to be 9 in the set?

The paper manuals are wonderful for images that didn't turn out well in the scanned copies. The manual's photography wasn't great in the first place and the scanning technology back in the early 2000s wasn't wonderful either.

Of course, mine are only looked at on the dining table in the house either before the job, or after an extensive hand de-greasing has been done. I don't think my set had ever been in a garage, and they're going to stay that way.

 

To add just a bit:

The "Paper Copy" manuals are also complete (presuming one has the entire set) and in order (again, presuming they are still in order).

The "Ligeti" downloads are missing a few pages here and there, and are not completely in order. Very usable, but not totally complete.

 

UPDATE: searched and searched but could not find Vol. lll. Mark seems to have single volumes @ $50.

will drop price for the set to $399. For those asking, I find these manuals great to have and refer to. This is
an extra set, otherwise I would not be selling.
