Default Front brake rotor removal -- HELP!

OK, so I'm finally removing the aluminum ball joints from my '78, nuts all came loose without much trouble, but I can't seem to get the rotor off the hub. I can't get to the lower ball joint without removing it. The 2 set screws came out no problem, I just think it is rusted on. I've been hitting it with a hammer, so it probably needs to be replaced now too... any other methods you guys can recommend?

There should be a couple of 8mm threaded holes in the hub of the disc. Screw a bolt in each hole evenly to force the disc off of the hub. Before installing the new disc brush a thin film of nickel based anti-seize paste onto the face of the hub to prevent corrosion and sticking.

whack it with a hammer to break it loose. on the edge is best

or put a block of wood between the disc pad face and hit that.

You can damage the bearing.

Turn the rotor around while spraying PB blaster on the inside seating surfaces,
then take a mapp gas torch and heat the the rotor have a hose or fire extinguisher handy and a wet rag the rotor should break free.
by using the bolts through the front face method
