Default What's this plug for on the CE panel? Photo's

I just purchased this 84 and I'm going through all sort's of little repairs. I was checking on a draw so I was pulling fuses when I noticed this plug removed from the CE panel and at the panel the PO installed a jumper wire. I looked in my WM and I cant find anything about the CE panel and all the plugs at the bottom. Thanks again.

Exactly. Black Z plug.
Unplug it from CE panel and Jumper Z4 to Z6 to bypass the 1984 car alarm.
Exclusive for 1984 model, works for USA and ROW

Look for the wiring diagrams in your WSM for 1984. There is a cryptic diagram that depicts the plug connectors A thru Z out in a perimeter view. The various wire destinations are referenced. Takes a lot of patience to figure out. If you dial-in on the one labeled Z, you will see a call-out for Z4 and Z6.
