85 Euro
Well sadly I need to get rid of my 85 Euro S It has been sitting in my driveway for over a couple years now since the pass side cam sprocket split in half! I had entended on repairing it but never had the time, and now as it is unregisted I have until the end of the month to get rid of it or face a fine!! Any ideas what it should be worth?

Register it, at least register it non op, those fines stack up fast and broken 928s don't sell that fast, unless you want to sell it cheap.
Unless its especially nice or low miles wild guess is $5k to $10k less basic get it running repairs (ie new cam gear but not whole cost timing belt and water pump etc.)

If it doesn't run, not a whole lot.
Without hearing/seeing the motor run, without being able to shift the trans as the car is moving, it's a huge question mark. And price will reflect that.
What's the paint/exterior look like?
What's the interior look like?
And AFAIK, California is the only state that requires continuous registration or "non-op" status. Along with big fines to catch up.
It sounds like the fine you are facing is for having a non-operable, unregistered car in the driveway.
You might think about getting a storage unit and towing it there until it can be fixed.
The difference between what it will sell for as it sits, vs running and driving is well worth the cost of the repair, even paying someone else to do it (presuming that nothing else is wrong).

What he is saying here is that the price could be $1 or it could be $1 million. There are so many variables based on the information that you have given us or the lack of information you have given us. Basically it is a non-running 928, which is generally not worth much since it is non-running. But we don't know the condition of the interior, the exterior, the transmission, the rest of the engine (aside from the passenger cam gear).
Don't you have a friend or someplace you can move the car to protect it until you get around to it?
If not, I'll give you $500 sight unseen.
