Question Christmas parts wish list, can anyone help?

I've been with the list for some years now and I'm in a bit of a bind for some goodies for my 78 928 (9288200419).

I need to get my hands on a set of S4 upper and lower front A-arms.

I got WAY too much offset and it's damaging my front fenders. The S4 arms are apparently 10mm shorter then the early cars, so that should make everything work.

Now here is the WISH part.... Right now I can only afford about $150usd per arm or $600usd total plus shipping.

Either that or if any members have any suggestions for reducing my offset by about 10mm I'd be GLAD to entertain them.

I have tried...
1. Increasing the camber
2. Shaving the rim hub (not an option as these wheels didn't ahve much meat)
3. I've also set my Koni's to full stiff to reduce wheel travel.

I'll probably have to wait until I can increase my budget, but I though I may as well ask, thanks everyone.

Merry Christmas to all and a VERY merry Christmas to who ever has a winning idea!

Your price does not seem unreasonable, I've bought good upper and lower S4 arms for about $120 each in the UK. PM me if you want more info, but I'm not sure whether shipping to the US would make them over budget if the same supplier had more.

Was that 120 pounds or dollars?

I'm actually in Canada, but I'm in no big hurry to get them. So just mailing them would be fine.

Would you mind posting the contact or mail me directly?

THANKS!

Check out DC Automotive in Connecticut. Not too long ago, they had a full front S4 suspension for $375.

I can probably help you out on this. I'm parting out my '87. They just need to be cleaned up a little and they would be ready for shipping. Merry Christmas.

YA HOO! Called DC Auto and they grumbled a little bit about the $375 price and then finally said "OK" we'll do it.

Thanks very much Jim, never thought about calling DC as all their advertisments I've ever seen has never had anything 928 in them.

Thanks to everone else that replied, including Grimbro and have a very merry Christmas everyone!
