I read through the FAQ's and searched through some old threads and 928's can be bought cheap! What should i offer this guy. 1985 5-speed blue on tan leather 140000 miles, 60,000 miles since the motor was rebuilt. seats thrashed, dash cracked, bad syncros on the transmission, new paint, needs a battery and tires. 16" "manhole" style rims. a few "electrical problems" (did I even need to mention that one!) he is asking 4k or best offer. my father may want this car or if we decide it is too much of a money pit I could part it out. I have parted a few 944's and I love the cars. what kind of money would an 82 bring in parting it out? I sold a 944 engine for almost 400 bucks, are these parts worth a lot more than a 944's?
