How did you take the NFS file and get it into GTA? Is it the same file format?

no. it's totally different. generally we use www.zmodeler.com to swap 3d models between different game formats. excellent 3d editor - and free!

the damage model is pretty good.. lights come up, bumper and hood get crooked, and then fall off.. doors and mirrors get bent up.. etc etc etc

Just checked out GTA Vice City for the PC tonight (actually the wife did)...it's still $50. I'm cheap, so I'll be trading in the PS2 version tomorrow and then getting the PC version. No need for both.

Rich: You think you can email me the relevant files so I can import them? I've downloaded all (I think) necessary editing utilities.
