After disassembling the instrument panel and replacing the odometer gear it caught my eye that the red LED's that are there are not connected to anything. So I looked for others on the forum to see if there were any on others. Did not see anything. There are metal tips for soldering to on the back of them and it looks like they were used at one time. Nothing in the owners manual or WSM. Anyone know what they were for? Someone just add them in?

The PO of my car did the same thing. In my case it was for the radar detectors, front and rear.
