Default Tie down points?

OK - now that I have decided to trailer my 928 from CA to VA- does anyone have any recommendations on tie down points? I really don't want to arrive at my new home with a tweaked suspension due to my own stupidity Recommendations and/or pictures would be most appreciated - I know for a fact Santa will guarantee you a spot on his Good list!

Searching will get better info, but the main recommendation is to tie down the wheels and not the arms or to the body.

Recollection may be inaccurate, but my last (Tilden) twin axle rental had sliding 'chocks' to secure the wheels fore/aft plus ratcheting web strap tie-downs that went over top of each tire: when 'ratcheted' tight, the chassis was still freely suspended. Worked great - for an Audi Quattro; now for a 928....

I rented a U-haul trailer to tow mine, same setup Garth describes; no problems on 3000 mile journey.

In front there are two factory tie down loops. You have to look up above belly pan level, but they are there. I went to the hardware store and picked up four screw closed type links. They look like big chain links but you can screw them open on one side. I use two on each side and run a strap through the bottom one. In the back, I screw in the tow eye and run a strap through that. I don't tighten that one too much and it may not be the best for a long trip.
