Default Hunting idle.

Ok to the 928 gods , I have an issue with my idle on my 85 928 s3 5spd, replace ISV, tps answer my idle has gone from a too high dle to now hunting idle, no vacuum leaks don't know what to do other take to German sport I walnut Creek ca., is it possible that I got a bad isv.

I would check the TPS it might not be closing all the way

Is there a way to check my new tps without tearing intake apart again.

yes you can either check it at the connector from the extension cable that goes from the TPS to the harness. this should be accessible near the right front of the intake assembly (passenger side). It will be a 3 pin connector, and you need to check for continuity between pins 1 and 2 for the idle switch and 1 and 3 for the full throttle switch.

Or you can check it at the connector for the LH. you would need to check for continuity from pin 3 on the LH connector to ground for the idle switch, or pin 12 and ground for the full throttle switch.
