Mr. 6ixer, the picture was in the comments section of an article about the 928 V12/6spd. I think it was from Germany, a couple years ago,
The motor is a W12 with the W photoshopped into a V. Look closley.
I've been considering this swap for a while. I already have a low mileage W12 motor.
Just gotta get it out of the wife's car without her noticing!
Cheers

I would start with this:

Ironically, the 'headline' on the link is highly appropriate.

Haven't we leaned that on here?
For a while I believed that Scheissco was a real company,
Seriously, there was an ad campaign, "real or photoshop?" that was a lot of fun.

Cayenne v8 could work, a properly cnc'd dry sump oil pan will allow proper ground clearence, thereby allowing for a decent engine install. I prefer a conventional outboard dry sump system over the stock Cayenne dry sump in the cumbersome wetsump pan.

Wow! I've never seen the plastic covers transplanted into a 928. It looks very well done.
Well done enough that it was easy to believe that it was simply photoshopped. I misread Dinsdale's comment, and took it to mean that the whole thing was 'shopped, not just the logo.
Nevermind. I was right the first time. It's all photoshop, not a real transplant.
My apologies.
