Call me a "purist", I guess. Original wheels are what sets each year of change apart from the rest. If you want Boxster wheels, go buy a Boxster to go with them. If you like the look of newer wheels on your "old bugger", maybe you should consider buying a newer model shark. My 2 cents - for what it's worth.

If its any help, these are the spec. of my wheels,
I've got OEM 18" Porsche Sport clssic II wheels on my car (same rims as porsche1662's bogster but with more spokes), here are the specs. Even though they are nowhere near original offsets, they fit well & look great

........... 993 362 136 50. 8.0" 52mm '94-'98 993, C4
........... 993 362 138 50 9.0" 50mm '98 Bogster
.Rear # 993 362 140 50 10.0" 65mm '94-'98 993,Bogster '98>996
..... #= mine

Martin,
Where did you buy the Sport Classic IIs from? I've been considering them for my S4, but they are considerably more expensive new than the Rivas which I'm also considering.
Thanks,
Gary
