Is there a special procedure to remove the cylinder from a non alarm hatch lock? I see lots of tutorials for the alarm ones, those have 3 simple bolts to remove. I don't see any bolts on the standard non-alarm unit.

You need to drill out the pin holding it in, or drill next to pin and pry out.
