Operation “Chain Link” - recaliming a 1982 928s from the morass of neglect

It’s been a while, so I figured it’s time to update this list.
To do list: green means done
~Tires (Continental Extreme Contact Sport)
~Replacement rim for one with curb rash
~Spare tire air pump
~Bought new Boge shocks
~Speakers
~HVAC vac line repair
~AC recharge parts/kit
~Intake plenum sealing ring
~Spare tire cover
~Fuel distributor rebuild - bought and installed but then sent for pro rebuild
~Vac lines under hood - bought and installed with a very noticeable difference
~Headlight solenoid - bought and installed and headlights work correctly now (tried rebuilding the original but an actual solenoid had fried)
~New ignition coil
~Wash, clay bar, wax the entire car
~Clean window actuators and get passenger window back on track (done)
~Cleaned and lubed sunroof and cables
~Repair the front air dam
~Get stereo working since it seems wires are unhooked
~Pull seat leather and sew/glue it back together correctly so the cushions look correct
~Soften the dash leather and glue it back in place in the few locations it has pulled
~Brake fluid flush (done)
~Brake booster replace (done)
~Brake master replace (done)
~Floppy driver side mirror repair (done)
~Intake plenum remove and reseal
~New intake plenum rubber mounts
~New Mercedes fuel injectors
~Fuel distributor prefessionally rebuilt
~Rebuilt WUR
~New timing belt
~Oil and filter change
~Trans filter, gaskey, fluid change
~New intake manifold gaskets
~Leatherique on interior leather made a huge difference. Will continue to hit with lexol to keep softening (done)
~Central Warning System solder reflow
~Inspect wires behind dash for poor connections
~Thrust bearing inspection
~Suspension bushings - maybe
~Engine mounts - maybe
~Adjusted idle and AF settings
~Verified timing is correct
~New fuel pump, filter (ext and int), and lines
~Repainted fuel tank inspection cover and straps, and installed new padding
~Pulled and flushed fuel tank
~Odometer gear repair (added on miles that didn’t get logged)
~Cleaned dash electrical grounds/connections
~Hood insulation - in hand
~Hook up hot start solenoid - or find out what the temp sensor goes to
~Connect AC compressor solenoid
This is soooo easy!
